Ramdey is an author and illustrator of modern English poetry and prose. Although her study was in the field of bio medical research, she chose to focus on her passion in life, which is writing.
Referring to herself as more philosopher than poet. Telling she is fueled by a fascination of experiencing the universe through nature.

"With my writing, I cannot provide life experience. However, I can provide a certain way of thinking by molding my own life experiences into words. By this, I hope to awaken the one who reads my book to practice life differently. Because when we change our way of thinking, we change the way we perceive, and thus, we change the way we experience life itself. "- Ramdey

Ramdey is of Indian origin, born in the Netherlands.
Being inspired, from a young age by poets like Kabir Das and Rumi, she started to write as a therapy; for the things she went through, the issues she faced on a cultural level, and the issues she wanted to give a voice.
Being told, her way of explaining certain topics, was awakening and spiritual, to those who read it; she decided to publish the first edition of her debut book in 2018: More rose than human.

For Ramdey, the future holds many more books to come, since her debut book is the first of an upcoming series collection.
